TESTIMONIALS - Beal Design Builders.
My partner and I wanted to freshen up and remodel our home. We contacted 5 builders and received varying quotes using our Plans. Richard Beal impressed us with his ideas; his quote came in not too high, but not too low either. He had constructive advice and suggestions which gave us the confidence that he could Project Manage this renovation through to a reasonable economic conclusion.
Richard, along with his team of carpenters was punctual and hard working and very quickly their demolitions evolved into quality craftwork and our new home was appearing.
Richard Project Managed accurately the stages and timelines as they needed adjustments so that Electricians, Tilers, Plasterers, Painters and Plumbers were correctly scheduled and timber flooring, Gyprock sheets, internal doors etc were delivered on time.
Richard minimised the amount of inconvenience to us that living in and around renovations must surely occur such that we didn’t really find it onerous at all!
We recycled many of the windows, glass doors and a louver window. Richard’s skills were evident as he worked with these odd shapes. We also heeded his advice when some of our ideas were not feasible.
We are both so happy with the finished product. We have a new home.
From the outset we felt we could communicate well with Richard and Sarah. That impressed us. Working closely with Richard we feel that we have a strong Builder to Client/Friend relationship now which is pleasing as we didn’t expect that.
Now, one year on from the completion of the renovations, Richard is still only too happy to help with the minor adjustments that need attention. This ongoing service reinforces our feelings that we really did make the right choice when we selected Richard to build our home.

'We had the privilege of having Richard Beal from Beal Designs build the extension to Bli Bli House Bed and Breakfast, an old Queenslander and Sunshine Coast icon. c1873. After a number of local renowned builders would not take on the challenge Richard and his team did. Theywere great to work with and did a magnificent job of the extension. A great amount of effort was put into making the new section match the old as well as including a top storey. We are very pleased with all that they did. It is now impossible to tell the new from the old.
Richard and his team are a pleasure to work with and demonstrate craftsmanship that is seldom seen in today’s builders.
